Hi Kimberly,
We enjoyed your website and will be in Menton in late April for only 1 night. What hotel do you recommend – Chambord or Balmoral Vacances Blues?
A 2 hour walking tour of Old Menton? Restaurants?
Thank you.
Ann Torrance
Hi Ann, Both are so beautiful! I would have loved to have stayed at the Balmoral Vacances Blues though! I saw that one from the road and we walked past that one several times, BEAUTIFUL! If you get a chance look at my 5 day menton itinerary I have a few restaurants I loved while there and you are so incredibly close to a few if you stay at the Balmoral! You will LOVE the two hour walking tour!! It’s fabulous. If you want to try some great Lemon inspired baked goods, stop by Mitron Bakery for their lemon tart! IT is one of my favorite places! we took two lemon tarts for the road on the morning of our departure! Look into a few restaurants that are close to the hotel you are staying at like Le pecora negra, Cote Sud, Restaurant Primo, and restauraunt Le Galion! I think those are some fair suggestions. On our food tour in 2024, our host Patricia set up a birthday surprise for me at Le Pecora Negra and I loved their wine selection and food!
Hi Kim! How long is the Food Tour because that looks like it is to die for!
it was about 3 hours! I left full and happy, the lemon tart at Mitron Bakery was SOOOO good. Also Patricia from Food Tour Riviera will take you to a place that has the BEST meat and Cheese boards!
