Sleeping under a sky like this, with the Milky Way overhead, is an experience I’ll never forget. I took this with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, long exposure mode. Worth every grain of sand in my shoes.

Walking among these ancient columns, I felt like I time-traveled. It’s one of the most intact Roman cities outside of Italy—and an easy day trip from Amman. It’s about an hour away from Amman and you could spend all day here! So much history in this beautiful place!

The food we had at Beit Al Baraka was exceptional. Made by locals with heart and love. We had some of the best food in Jordan and I absolutely recommend staying here.

While on hikes in Jordan, you can get offered tea by your guide. It’s a can’t-miss opportunity, he might even give you dates and biscuits at lunch.

A local Bedouin Man playing his Rababa in Little Petra. He sang for us and we cheered him on. He told us he was born in the late 1930’s and when our guide, Feras asked ” what keeps you young?” the man replied ” I sit here and play this instrument”
