About Kimberly
HiIโm Kimberly.
Finding strength, story, and meaning in the messiness of travel.
Iโm a midlife adventurer, travel writer, and solo hiker who has spent the last eight years living across Europe and Asia as a military spouse. What began as a way to get through deployments and long stretches of uncertainty slowly became the thing that rebuilt me. One weekend away turned into a path. One hike turned into confidence. And before I knew it, travel stopped being an escape and started becoming the life I could actually see myself in.
I never planned on becoming a full-time travel creator.
I never planned on writing about grief, identity, culture, or the strange ways places change us.
I definitely never planned on building a business out of train rides, mountain trails, and all the quiet moments in between.
But here we are.
These days, I write guides for slow, meaningful travel; stories for anyone navigating big transitions; and resources for people living abroad or finding their courage again. I believe in depth over speed, connection over checklists, and telling the truth about what it feels like to build a life far from where you started.
Whatโs this blog about?
Helping you travel with intention, confidence, and a real sense of who you are becoming.
Whether itโs finding your next destination, learning how to navigate life abroad, or building a travel-forward creative career, this is a space for travelers who feel things deeply and arenโt afraid to evolve..
Where Youโve Seen Me
Iโve been featured in Stars and Stripes Europe, Military Families Magazine, and United on the ROK, and Iโm a proud member of the Travel Coach Network.
